In 2009, Australian fashion designer Alannah Ashworth launched her label Alannah in the UK. Taking cues from her own styling rather than playing on current design trends, Alannah embellishes her love of all things vintage.

Already snapped up by the likes of Duffy, Lily Allen, Kate Nash, and Katy Perry, Ashworth's ranges showcase her classic 50s/60s noir styling cum trend-savvy edge to the London market.

"My designs are a little bit idiosyncratic, a little bit romantic and a lot of me," says Ashworth. "I design for what I would want to wear and what my friends would want to wear."

The launch of Alannah in the UK follows her successful ranges in Australia where the designer received national recognition for her work at the Mercedes Benz Start Up Competition and the Delfin Australian Fashion Design Awards.
